A huge park area that often has food stalls on weekends, along with shrines and a large pond.

  • Tokyo National Museum

Ueno Zoo

I personally haven’t visited yet, though the palace cats are very popular.

Ameyoko Market

Packed narrow streets filled with shops and food stalls. Very cool, but can get VERY busy.

Nezu Shrine

Especially beautiful during azalea season in spring.

Kitajukken River

Located near Tokyo Skytree. I highly recommend visiting at night for the illuminations along the river.
